This beautiful sanderling (sandpiper) shorebird is perched on a great piece of driftwood - about 7-8 inches - the bird is about 5 inches long. She is made from recycled wood and her wings are driftwood bark we collected on the Popham beach. A little clam shell decorates the piece.
