One of our most popular creations is the lovely pair of sanderlings on a natural piece of driftwood. Our pair of Maine-coast shorebirds are shaped from pieces of recycled wood. The bird are decorated with handmade mulberry paper, painted, and then mounted on another piece of driftwood along with a Maine Coast shell. The wings of these birds are made from driftwood too!
This piece of driftwood was collected from the Popham beach near our studio here in mid-coast Maine. These birds are made from recycled wood from the beach - each is unique. Shipping is included in the price.
